Cry Gator!

December 8, 2009

As you know, if you’ve followed my blog for long, I really have no interest in spectator sports, but I DO love mascots and cartoons. So when an idea pops into my brain for a toon, I draw it, sports related or not.

And sometimes, I sell it!

There’s a reason it’s called a “murder” of crows

December 3, 2009

We have a crow problem at work. Well, it’s not really a problem…it’s actually somewhere on the border between annoying and amusing. You see, two crows have decided it’s their duty to attack our windows at random moments. Wings flailing and talons making a lovely chalkboard screech against the glass as the crows pound on it with their pointy little skulls. They seem VERY determined to accomplish….well…whatever the heck it is they are trying to accomplish.

I’m just glad they don’t have hammers.

P.S. The title of this post is in reference to the fact that the proper name for a group of crows is a murder. If you didn’t already know that, now you do. Your life is complete.

My illustration for an article in the March 2010 issue of In Touch magazine. The article is about the widow of Zarephath and how, at the end of everything she had, God revealed Himself to her in an amazing way.
