Some closeups of four illustrations I finished last night for a client. It was a great project to work on, and I got to go all texturey and washy and inky, so you know I’m a happy little illustrator guy!

Stylistically speaking, this one is an homage of sorts to the great Guy Billout. The article, which will be published on the In Touch website in July, is about the initial fear the author felt when she had to severely limit her data usage, and how that fear eventually changed to a sense of freedom.

I don’t usually work in collage, but this article- comparing digital social communication to more traditional methods of personal interaction- was one that really lent itself to that technique. It will appear in June on the In Touch Ministries digital magazine site.
