An illustration for a digital article to be published in September on the In Touch Ministries site.
It’s a bird with the head of a chicken, and the body of a duck. Wearing a bow tie.
Sometimes, I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living, folks. I am truly blessed.

NOT A DOODLE: Of Ducks, Outhouses, and Time Travel
April 1, 2014Here is the first cover in a series of books I’m illustrating for the good folks over at Tyndale House Publishing. They have teamed up with the “Duck Dynasty” family to publish four fictional adventure stories aimed at young readers. I’ll be providing covers as well as interior illustrations.
These have been an absolute blast to work on, and I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a nicer group of people.

(Incidentally, this is the first time EVER I have used the tag “outhouses” for a blog post, so it’s sort of like you are witnessing history here!)

As for the doofus….that one started as a skull and cross bones and went from there.
