Giddy Kitty

April 27, 2012

I got approached by a national greeting card company to work with them on a new humor line they are starting up. It’s in the early stages, but so far I’ve been having fun getting to doodle for pay! First up is this giddy kitty. And from the excitement level it’s demonstrating and the awkward way it’s standing, I’m just hoping it has strong bladder control, because my blog is not litter box equipped.

Ah, pudding…

February 6, 2012

Ah, pudding....

The face came first. Then the body. And I knew, given the facial expression he was making, he had to be deep in thought about something that enthralled him. And what’s more enthralling than pudding?

Fall Fever!

Been a bit, hasn’t it?

Well, just back off! I’ve been busy, okay?

To make it up to you, I’ve posted a big one. Just click on the thumbnail to see my latest “meeting doodle”. But don’t stare at it too long; it’s WAAAAY too nice outside to sit around just staring at your computer screen.

A Frolic or a Cavort?

June 3, 2010

This is a Snubbler. That’s about all I know about him. Well, that, and he apparently loves a good frolic.

Or would that be a cavort? Or maybe a romp? Or a gambol? How ’bout a caper?

Whatever. All I know is, he looks like he’s enjoying himself immensely.

Maybe you should go out and indulge in a good dose of frolicking right now, too. Just try to keep the drooling to a minimum.

Santa Crane FINAL 72

C’mon! I mean, the man flies around the world at light speed being pulled by reindeer! And without the benefit of so much as a seat belt! Do you honestly think job safety is a high priority for Santa Claus???

This is the illustration for the poster advertising my town’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Still can’t seem to get drunken Santa approved.

Maybe next year…

Exonerated by the Egghead Brigade

Okay, so these guys probably spent a fortune in taxpayer money to “discover” something I could’ve proven for free!

Take Note: Doodling Can Help Memory

Now, if I can just get a grant to prove my theory that society didn’t start having struggles with obesity until AFTER the government made companies start listing the fat and calorie contents on food packaging…..

{Thanks, Linda, for the heads up on the Yahoo article.}

One thing you can say about good ol’ Theo….he’s always got an upbeat outlook on life. But, hey, who wouldn’t, with snazzy high-ridin’ trousers like those?

Sometimes, you have to find pleasure in the seemingly mundane.
